Step into the ghostly glow of typewriter keys and unlock the eerie stories behind some of the most iconic typewriters of this and the last century in films, TV series and literature! This Halloween, The Typewriter Museum invites you to the Spooky Typewriter Exhibition – an exclusive exhibition that tells the story of the typewriters that played a key role in unforgettable films and stories.
From Jack Torrence’s eerie typewriter from The Shining to Agatha Christie’s loyal companion who helped write her legendary detective stories, you can get up close and personal with these stars of film and literature in a mystical atmosphere, and try your hand at being a writer yourself by writing something with your typewriter!
If you’re a lover of films, especially old films, or you like to read books, or you just want to try your hand at being a writer from a previous century, feel free to come to our terrible typewriter exhibition and get up close and personal with typewriters!
We welcome you, your friends and/or family to visit us on 31 October from 19.00 to 23.00 at Viskaļu iela 36a 1st floor foyer!
