Open typewriters from anew! On 31st of May and 1st of June, in parallel with Antiques collectors and restorers days, we invite you to our museum to meet typewriters, play with them and also take some photos in a special vintage atmosphere!

Famous typewriter manufacturers – Remington, Mercedes, Underwood, AEG, Canon and Brother, as well as some special guests – AEG Mignon poster typewriter, Barbie toy typewriter and a very special large Japanese typewriter!

Try yourself out in a role of a writer – you will have an opportunity to try typewriting for youselves by writing something on a vintage piece of paper or on a special postcard, which you can take with yourself and gift to someone or just send it out by post!

Be our guests on the 31st of May and 1st of June from 11:00 to 14:00 at Sergeja Eizenšteina ielā 59A. We are very close to the market at Biķernieki, entrance is completely free. It’s just 2 minutes by car or 500m by foot from there!

How to get to us?

• by car: you can park your car on the Sergeja Eizenšteina street and follow the guide to get to us, which we will post on our social networks soon!

• 35th trolleybus in the Mežciems direction – bus stop “S.Eizenšteina iela” or “Biķernieku iela” in the direction of the city center;

• 15th, 21st, 33rd and 63rd busses, as well as 14th and 18th trolleybuses on the bus stop “Mežciema pamatskola”;
